Development Ministry/ Ninth Avenue Food Festival

    

The Ninth Avenue International Food Festival for 2013 will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 18th & 19th from Noon - 5 PM. Please visit their website at  http://ninthavenuefoodfestival.com/for more information.

Although Holy Cross Parish is located in one of the more affluent areas in New York City, we are also called to serve those who are in need. Like every church, we are in financial need to continue our mission and the various ministries.
 
The Development Ministry Committee meets monthly to secure the various grants, donations and fund raising events needed to support the works of the parish.
 
Each year in May, volunteers man our booth at the 9th Avenue International Food Festival selling our world famous meatball heroes, homemade desserts and other items. In August of each year, there is a cocktail party and raffle/auction in on the East End of Long Island.
